Reggianito is a very hard, granular, cows' milk cheese from Argentina. Saltier and less sophisticated in both flavor and texture, the cost is significantly less expensive than most parmesan style cheeses. It was made by Italian immigrants to Argentina in the early part of the 20th century, and has remained a staple in the Argentinian diet ever since.
