This soft-ripened cow's milk cheese with a flavor profile similar to Vacherin is elegantly packed in wood chip box. The edging is bound by spruce bark which imparts essence. Its lovely rich and runny paste is moist, soft, and smooth. It is amazing melted with Gruyere or Comte in a fondue, or just by itself with crackers.
