L'Estornell is named after the bird that usually roams around the Arbequina olives in Spain. It is a tradition in Spain to grow Arbequina Olive trees next to almond trees, and this is why many notice a slight almond-like flavor and aroma when using this oil. It by no means has any noticeable flaws; it has a full-bodied rounded flavor with a very slight pepper flavor to the back of the throat.
This is 2008/09 harvest olive oil that is past its prime. It is significantly discounted, so we will not accept returns or exchanges.
