Our Guarantee of Satisfaction

At World Harvest, we know our food, so we guarantee it. We guarantee that from the moment you open your box until the last bite you take, you will know that we have spend the time and research to locate good food wherever it may be hiding and get it on your table. If you encounter any problems with any of our products, our customer service, or shipping, please contact us and we will try our best to make it right for you.

Returns

We inspect each package before it is shipped out. If you receive an order that is damaged due to shipping, please contact us so we can start the claims process. Please do not toss anything out until we tell you to do so.  In some cases, we might send a representative from the shipping company to inspect the package and document the damages before you can throw it out or send it back.  Please make sure to contact us within 3 days of delivery so we can start the claims process.  If you changed your mind about an item and wish to return it, we ask that you contact us before shipping it back. We will charge a 15% restocking fee for returned items to cover order processing and handling, and will then refund your credit card for the product amount.  We unfortunately cannot refund shipping charges as these are paid to the shipping company when your order was shipped.  Please see our shipping page for more information about shipping.

Backorders

We carry over 7000 items that are ordered from every region of the world, and, for this reason, it is the nature of the business that we may not always have every item in stock every time. If there ever comes a time where we will have to backorder something for you, we will send an email informing you of the item(s) that are backordered. We may also suggest possible replacements for the out of stock items. 

Hours of Operation

Our retail store is open for business from 10:00 am - 8:00 pm Monday-Saturday and 11:00 am - 6:00 pm on Sundays (Central Standard Time). Please leave a message with one of us, and someone from the shipping department will get back to you as soon as possible.

Security

At World Harvest, customer security comes first. That is why all our transactions are done on a secure server through the internet. If you still don't feel comfortable with this, just give us a call at (573) 442-3833 and we will be happy to make an order through the phone for you.

Payment

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards online. We also accept checks and Money Orders. Please select that option in the checkout page, and then mail the check/money order to us. We will hold checks and money orders until they clear before shipping the order out. 

Email Newsletter

We have an email newsletter that we send to all our customers every 4-6 weeks that includes information about news and special promotions.  It may include information about items on sale or coupon codes for special pricing, or offers for shipping discounts.  This newsletter is also used to communicate information about our annual fresh-pressed olive oil pre-order program, where we offer special pricing on fresh-pressed olive oils from Europe that ship as soon as we receive them.  We find that many people thank us for our email newsletter, as it's another service that we offer at WorldsFoods.com.  You may unsubscribe from this newsletter at any time.
